App Store Optimisation is the process of optimising various aspects of an app to improve visibility, installs and conversion. The creative assets are what drive conversion and this includes the app icon, preview video and screenshots. By taking into consideration a number of factors such as layout tactics, branding, audience and the app vertical, optimised creative can be generated and through various types of a/b testing and qualitative testing, a winning variant can be identified before uploading it as the permanent app preview.
